The modernization has hardly affected the dimensions of the Ford Expedition. It, as before, is offered with two wheelbase options – 3023 and 3327 mm. New here is the power steering, which became electric, as well as adaptive suspension Continuously Controlled Damping, which can work in three modes – Normal, Sport and Comfort. The electronics continuously adjusts the work of shock absorbers, processing data from 46 sensors. It takes into account the steering wheel position, brake system operation, wheel oscillation and other parameters.

The Ford Expedition is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost, rather than the previous 5.4-liter V8. This unit produces 370 hp and 570 Nm of torque, working with a six-speed SelectShift automatic transmission with manual shifting.

The Expedition is produced at Ford’s plant in Kentucky, in the eastern United States.
