The version with the younger turbo petrol engine of 2 liters capacity of 255 horsepowers received it. But more powerful Stinger with twin-turbo V-shaped “six” with volume of 3,3 liters and capacity of 370 horses possesses only rear drive. With such motor the car exchanges first “hundred” for 4,9 seconds! The gearbox is only automatic with eight steps, but it will not switch itself in manual mode. So, you don’t have to regret about absence of “mechanics”. Especially for the European markets a 200-horsepower 2.2 diesel engine was added to the engine lineup. With it the acceleration dynamics is certainly more modest, but the fuel efficiency wins. Moreover, a hybrid version of the model may appear soon.

But KIA focuses not only on dynamics, but also on driving qualities of the model. In fact, to adjust the suspension, the engineering team invited Albert Biermann, known for his work on the running gear of BMW cars. Therefore, not only the honest manual mode, but also the possibility to switch off the stabilization system completely is provided for fans of drive.
