2022 Kia Ceed Owner's Manual

The base powerplant for the 2022 Kia Ceed is a 1.0-liter T-GDI turbo, producing 100 hp or 120 hp. The engine is equipped exclusively with a six-speed “manual”. A more productive option is the 1.5-liter T-GDI, producing 160 hp and 253 Nm of torque (also available with soft-hybrid add-on). It can be paired with both a manual and a seven-speed DCT robot. Finally, 1.6-liter CRDI diesel engine (exclusively soft-hybrid) produces 136 hp and – depending on the gearbox – 280 Nm (iMT) or 320 Nm (“robot”).

As for electronic assistants ADAS, then for hatchback is now available adaptive cruise control and Lane Keeping System, working independently of each other (which allows you to integrate the latter into cars with a “manual”), the system of automatic braking, which now recognizes cyclists, and active blind spot monitoring, and the system of automatic braking while reversing.

As for comfort equipment, the hatchback Kia Cid available rearview camera and parking sensors, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, heated two rows of seats and front seat ventilation, driver seat position memory, wireless charging for smartphone and audio system JBL with eight speakers and subwoofer. The Sid also features Kia Connect, which allows you to control some of the car’s functions using your smartphone.
