There are two power plants. The first is a 5.6-liter gasoline V8 Endurance Series with 395 hp and 544 Nm of torque. It works with the optional seven-speed automatic transmission. The second engine is a diesel engine – available only for the heavy-duty Titan XD. This is Cummins V8 engine, which develops 314 hp and 752 Nm of torque. There is a choice of versions with rear-wheel or all-wheel drive (with downshift). The pickup is built on a steel frame, the front suspension is independent, rear suspension is on leaf springs. All four base brake discs are ventilated. The Pro4X version offers a locking rear differential, downhill assist, and Bilstein shock absorbers tuned for off-roading.
