2022 Toyota Highlander Owner's Manual

The Toyota Highlander is an eight-seat K3 SUV. The restyled version of the third-generation Highlander premiered at the New York Auto Show in March 2016.
The interior has also changed with the intended number of passenger seats. The second row is represented by a three-seater seat, thus increasing the seating capacity to 8 people. Comfort is complemented by a three-zone climate control system. The luggage compartment door is now equipped with an electric drive.
During the exterior update, designers did not make any major changes, but worked out the characteristic features of the SUV. The trapezoidal grille was made more massive, visually lengthened to the bottom of the bumper and reinforced with decorative horizontal bars. Now Highlander looks bigger and more imposing when looking from the front. In addition, the headlights got strips of LED daytime running lights. Slightly retouched the rear lights. According to an already established tradition, the designers didn’t miss the wheel rims, which received a new design.
At the same time it was decided to leave interior of Toyota Highlander unchanged. Is that installed additional USB-ports, and the color of leather trim interior replenished with a new brown shade. However, it is worth mentioning the new SE version, which can be distinguished by a light factory tuning and black color at most: the grille, headlight housings and fog lamps were painted in it; the interior received black leather trim with original embossing.
