2023 BMW 5 Owner's Manual

Car crash tests are great not only to make sure a vehicle is safe, but also to observe new models that have not been seen anywhere before. That’s how the 2023 BMW 5 also caught the limelight. In the exterior, the first thing that stands out are the taillights, which have the appearance of separate units. Although the camouflage cleverly hides interesting details, the rear and front panels are clearly narrower than its predecessor. The size of the radiator grille remains unchanged.

On the technical side, the owner will have a real luxury in the form of a choice of power units: electric, diesel, gasoline and hybrid. The only catch is that, alas, not all of them will be available in individual markets. The car is said to initially appear with both the gasoline-powered 530i and the electric i5. The electric car is said to accommodate rear-wheel drive and a single engine (in the eDrive40 package). But in a complete set M60 xDrive, it will “accelerate” to 335 and 590 “horses” due to a pair of powerful motors.
The German car company has never stood aside from modern trends, so the BMW 5 “earned” another plus thanks to the eco-friendly feature: gasoline engines will make much less “emissions” into the environment.
