2023 GMC Yukon XL Owner's Manual

The GMC Yukon is a rear- or all-wheel drive off-road vehicle of the “K3” class. The fifth generation of the model. The vehicle premiered on January 14, 2020 in Vail, Colorado, USA.

The generation change brought the Yukon SUV significant changes in technical terms and relatively modest changes in terms of appearance. This generation can be recognized by the increased size of the grille, more stringent three-sectional headlights with “brackets” of diode flashers and front bumper with vertical fog lights. At the rear, the noticeable differences are the optics with a modified diode pattern, as well as the trunk lid with a large trapezoidal stamping at the license plate mounting.

This generation Yukon added dimensions: its overall length increased by 155 mm (up to 5335 mm) and wheelbase grew by 127 mm (to 3071 mm). One of the main changes in the platform of the car is the use of now independent multilever suspension instead of the axle. Together with the increase in length it allowed increasing the amount of space for third row passengers’ legs by 41% and the volume of trunk behind the third row – by 66% (now – 722 liters).
