Dodge Avenger Owner's Manuals
The Avenger is a four-door sedan or two-door coupe belonging to the D segment. The car replaced the Daytona model. The manufacturer has produced two generations of the Avenger.
Technically, the model is very similar to the Chrysler Sebring. Both cars have identical platforms, power units and suspension characteristics. But the exterior design of the car manifests aggression and inspires strength and brutality.
The radiator grille is distinguished by the location of the trademark cross on it. The long hood, massive main headlights and the square shape of the light sources add to the exterior’s solidity. The rear fenders and arches are original in configuration, which improves aerodynamics. The trunk is somewhat shortened, and the distinctive feature of the stern is the original spoiler.
The restyled 2010 model has received minimal changes in interior design. But inside the car enthusiasts will see a lot of interesting changes. The front panel is now equipped with an LCD screen. The interior is equipped with high-quality materials. The seats are equipped with controls for maximum comfort of the driver and passengers.
The Avenger had 2.4-liter and 2.6-liter gasoline engines, which were combined with a 4-speed automatic transmission, and a V6 engine with a six-speed.
After the restyling, the car with the 2.4-liter engine received an automatic transmission with 6 speeds. In addition, the more powerful engine has also been replaced by a 6-cylinder V-shaped power unit with a capacity of 3.6 liters.
The Avenger’s suspension has also been improved. Thanks to the lower ground clearance and extended wheelbase, the car became more reliable in handling.
