Ford F-250 Owner's Manuals

Ford has been making F-250 pickups for more than 60 years. More than 33 million units and 12 generations of this model have been produced throughout its history. For several decades, the company holds a leading position among pickup trucks. The pickups were named according to their payload capacity. This model was able to carry 750 kg. Everyone liked such a car without exception, because it can be used not only for household purposes. In 1965, the company offered a special series Camper Special, and in 1974, a modified F-250-Super Cab model has been presented. Manufacturer responds perfectly to customer needs and steadily develops the company in sales. By 1978, Ford produces a record number of the model range F-250 – about 900 thousand units. In the early ’80s, the first F-250 with an 8-cylinder diesel engine comes off the assembly line.
For the first time in 1987, the car received anti-lock rear tires, by 1994 the first driver’s airbag and CD changer were installed. This car was equipped with a 7.3 liter engine with an output of 210 hp. In 1997 came the tenth generation, based on the light duty platform. The truck is equipped with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive as an option. By the end of the 90’s, F-250 was equipped with different engines: V6 – 4.2l; V8 – 4.6l; V8 – 5.4l and turbocharged diesel for 5.4 liters.
The 11th generation model comes out in 2004 and gets a formidable exterior design with good aerodynamic performance. It gets massive chrome bumpers and a grille. Its maximum curb weight is 3,800 kg. The model has been updated in 2007. It received another engine and automatic transmission. The company offered two options: FX4 and FX2, all-wheel drive and front-wheel drive. They have reliable shock absorbers and fuel tank protection plates.
