Ford Ranger Owner's Manuals

Since 1983, Ford has been producing a two-row pickup truck for the European and Asian markets. The car got a powerful frame, five seats, and a full-fledged rear row. The first generation is equipped with a 2.5 liter turbo engine, working on a diesel or 2.6-liter gasoline engine and all-wheel drive.
The next generation appeared in 1993. The truck dramatically changed exterior design. It became more streamlined, the body’s shape became more round, and the wheels were enlarged. The cargo area is strengthened by a metal frame. There is more comfort in the cabin, and the cabin was offered in one and a half and double sizes. An updated 2.5-liter turbocharged diesel engine with output of 143 horsepower is installed here. A new dashboard, anti-towing system and anti-lock brakes were added. The car works with manual and automatic transmissions. The car has also received an increased gas tank for 75 liters. There is additional brake light installed on the rear window. By 19955, the Ford Ranger has received an upgrade. It received a driver side airbag and 2 DIN media system. All-wheel drive versions were equipped with a 4.0 liter engine. In ’96, a passenger airbag was added.
The third generation was produced for long 14 years, beginning in 1998. This model has changed in length, the wheelbase has increased, the cabin is now a little more spacious, but has one row. The front suspension is made on a new multilever system. Only eight years later a facelift has taken place. It can be equipped with leather seats, tire pressure control.
To this day, the car is produced both for the American market and for the European market. These cars are quite different in their characteristics and exterior and interior.
