Technically, the Altima is built on the platform of the previous generation of the model. This partially explains the fact that the overall dimensions of the sedan remained virtually unchanged, except for a widened by 35 mm front and rear track. The length of the car is 4,844 mm, width is 1,796 mm and height is 1,473 mm. The wheelbase length is 2776 mm.

The Nissan Altima has a modernized four-cylinder gasoline engine QR25 with a working volume of 2.5 liters, producing 183 hp of power (seven “horses” more than before) and 244 Nm of torque. In the urban cycle it consumes 8.7 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers and in the countryside – 6.1 liters. The second, more powerful 3.5-liter engine with V-shaped six cylinders has 270 “Horsepower” and 350 Nm of torque. To cover 100 kilometers around the city it needs 10.6 liters of fuel, and in the country – 7.8 liters. Both engines are paired only with the Xtronic variator.
