2011 Nissan Micra Owner's Manual

The Nissan Micra is the third generation of the three- or five-door Class “B” hatchback, introduced in 2002 at the Paris Auto Show.

Unveiled at the 2002 Paris Auto Show, the new Nissan Micra is a “revolutionary evolution” of the previous Micra model, the first Japanese car to win the European Car of the Year award in 1993. Over the past ten years, more than 1.3 million Nissan Micra cars have been sold in Europe, giving it the right to be called one of the most popular B-segment cars.

The new Micra is an international car. Its appearance was fully developed in Japan, where the car is sold under the name Nissan March, and the interior was created in the European Nissan Design Studio. Intended for the European market, the Nissan Micra was designed at a technical center in Cranfield, UK, and is assembled at Nissan’s Sunderland plant, which the World Market Research Centre estimates is the most productive automotive plant in Europe.
