In the European market Juk is offered with three types of engines corresponding to Euro-5 ecological standard. Two of them are petrol “fours” with the volume of 1.6 liters. Atmospheric variant (HR16DE) develops 117 hp, and supercharged (MR16DDT) – 190 hp. 1.5-liter diesel engine K9K, at the same time, develops 110 hp and can, as well as all other engines, work with one of three transmissions – fifth or six-speed “manual”, as well as with a variator Xtronic CVT. A fourth transmission option, the Xtronic CVT-M6 variator with manual gearshift option, is only available with all-wheel drive and a supercharged gasoline engine.
