The only exterior innovation can be only original design of the rear lights, which received horizontal position for the first time for the brand. And as for the interior, though it repeats the Countryman in many ways, on the day of the model launch it became the highest-quality and most interesting in the entire Mini’s lineup. Instead of a back sofa, the Paceman has two separate seats, which means the car is originally a four-seater. Moreover, the rear seats are folded down to give an opportunity to increase the volume of the luggage compartment from 330 to 1080 liters. The front seats, in turn, are slightly lifted to improve visibility for the driver and his passenger. Moreover, they are already in the basic equipment of the sports type, but their leather upholstery can be ordered only for an additional fee.

The Mini Cooper S Paceman is powered by a 1.6-liter gasoline engine, equipped with a TwinScroll turbocharger, due to which the output of this power unit is equal to 184 hp of power and peak torque – 240 Nm. The engine works either with a six-speed manual gearbox, or automatic transmission, but for extra charge. As for fuel consumption, in the mixed cycle it is 6.1 liters per 100 kilometers.
