The Ford Edge uses the platform of the Lincoln MKX. Developers noticeably weighted the front of the car, due to this Ford Edge seems more like a truck than an SUV. Headlights and lowered bumper remind American Fusion Sport. At the rear of the SUV are the headlights surrounded by chrome elements.
The Ford Edge has four trim options – SE, SEL, Limited and Sport. The vehicle is powered by a 3.5-liter V-6, 285 horsepower, which has low fuel consumption. The basic Ford Edge has front-wheel drive, a six-speed automatic transmission, and air conditioning.
