As for the technical innovations, the Ford C-Max, according to representatives of the company, after restyling has much better noise isolation and much less vibration. To achieve these goals, engineers used thicker side windows and additional sound absorbing material in the cabin and engine compartment. Also the suspension and steering system are reconfigured.
Ford C-Max has a new unit in the engine lineup – a 1.5-liter turbodiesel producing 120 hp of capacity. It is accompanied by a 2-liter diesel engine with 140 and 163 horsepower, and also petrol EcoBoost engines with working volume of 1.0 and 1.5 liters. Moreover, the first one (depending on boosting) produces 100 and 125 h.p. of capacity, and the second one – 150 and 180 “horses”.
