2020 Ford F-150 Owner's Manual
So in 2015, the second generation Raptor was presented, but not all fans met it as they would like. And the main problem is the lack of a V8. Under the hood of the “raptor” is now a 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost. However, despite of such downsizing, the engine became 39 powers (450 hp) more powerful than its predecessor. In the transmission – a new 10-speed “automatic” with paddles and a four-wheel drive with an automatic mode. Plus there is a “smart” off-road Terrain Management System with new modes: “Normal”, “Sport”, “Weather” (meaning “Rain/Snow”), “Mud/Sand”, “Rock” and the most special – “Baja”. And after the 2018 upgrade, Ford’s arsenal is updated with Trail Control, an off-road cruise feature (the system automatically distributes throttle and brake force and automatically transfers torque to the wheels with the most traction) and improved FOX 3.0 adaptive dampers with electronic control that changes damping characteristics in each strut separately.
