The traditional in such cases plastic dodger and increased ground clearance are the main attributes of the Passat Altrek that distinguish it from the usual station wagon. Electronics analyzes a picture from rear view camera and gives tips about a trajectory on the screen, and if necessary it can steer itself leaving a driver only gas pedal and brake control.
