The main in the Volkswagen Transporter’s engine range are, of course, the diesel engines. More precisely, one engine is 2-liter TDI, but in few variants of forcing – with 84, 102, 150 and 204 “ponies”. The petrol engine is also 2-liter and turbocharged. It has 150 or 204 hp. Transmission is manual and DSG. In all cases the engine is entitled to the system “Start-Stop” and less fuel consumption than before. If we believe the passport data, the economy is 15% or 1 liter of fuel per one hundred kilometers (the data are approximate and depend on the modification of the car).

The appearance of the sixth-generation Transporter was not a surprise, but pleased fans of the model. Preserving unconditional recognizability, the car received more modern features, actually repeating those solutions that designers embodied in the concept pickup Tristar, which debuted a year earlier.
