Every detail of the Volkswagen Passat exterior, with the exception of the roof, has been redesigned. This increased the car by 4 mm in length, while the width and height of the car remained unchanged. At the front, the Volkswagen Passat received a grille, a flat hood and headlights in the general corporate style. The rear of the car also meets the new standards, and the taillights, among other things, are distinguished by the original stripes.

In the interior, Volkswagen Passat, made a bet on improving the quality and approaching the Passat to the level of the flagship of Volkswagen – Phaeton. Thus, the passengers have got seats with heating, cooling and massage function in luxury configuration. In addition, the front panel has changed, appeared analog clock and, of course, new variants of interior trim.

The Volkswagen Passat’s engine lineup includes 1.6-liter and 2.0-liter diesel engines that produce 105, 140, and 170 hp. The line of gasoline engines, in turn, is represented by four engines: 1,4 л. (122 hp), 1.8 liters. (160 hp), 2.0 liters. (210 hp) and the top-end engine of 3.6 liters (300 hp).
