Cadillac CT5 (Cadillac CT5) – rear- or all-wheel drive sedan of the E-class. The first generation of the model. The sedan was presented at the New York Auto Show in April 2019.

Although formally in front of us is the first generation sedan, the CT5 is the next generation for the third CTS (2014-2019). The cars have the same platform – GM Alpha. The overall length of the car decreased from 4966 mm to 4924 mm, but the wheelbase increased – 2947 mm against the previous 2910 mm.

Continuity is felt primarily due to branded LED lights, “spreading” from the block of the front optics down to the bumper. But the shape of headlights (now they are not going on the fenders), grill of the radiator grill (with fine mesh) and the front bumper’s design are changed. Stern of the car now looks less heavy: the line of windows is transferred far behind the back door, which visually reduces the size of the back of the sedan (which because of the shape of the body now boldly claims the title of a “fastback”). In addition the chopped lines of the stern and taillights are smoothed now, and even more dynamism the image adds a wave of spoiler on the trunk lid.
