2023 Ford Ranger is a mid-size pickup truck of the new generation. The car will become a full-fledged replacement for the model, which has been produced for 11 years already. The vehicle is designed to overcome obstacles and operate in difficult weather and road conditions, such as snowy expanses or desert sands.
The new Ford Ranger now has an upgraded frame design. To improve off-road mobility, the front axle has been moved forward by 5 cm. Under the hood is located a turbocharged diesel V-shaped engine with 6 cylinders and a working volume of 3 liters. The previous 4-cylinder power units also remained available. The manufacturer also offers a 2.3-liter EcoBoost gasoline engine.
The transmission varies depending on the engine. It can be either manual or automatic transmission with 6 or 10 ranges.
The ground clearance and all-wheel drive remained unchanged. In addition, the manufacturer has provided for other versions, such as rear-wheel drive and automatic front-wheel activation.
