The new Magnum is extremely convenient for long journeys and transportation of various things. Externally the car looks very trim, moderately aggressive and very manly. The front and rear overhangs have been minimized, the waistline has been raised, and the roof line at the rear has been lowered. For more stability on the road, the Magnum got 18-inch wheels, which are covered with high wheel arches.

In 2003, the Intrepid was replaced by a completely new model called the Dodge Magnum. The truck was equipped with 2.7 liter engine (V6, 193 hp), 3.5 liter (V6, 254 hp), and 5.7 liter (V8, 345 hp).

With the Magnum RT powertrain in seats, equipped with a 5-band automatic, it accelerates from a spot to 96.5 km/h (60 mph) in 6.3 seconds. And the V8 HEMI equipped with the proprietary MDS (Multiple Displacement System) disconnects half of the cylinders at significant risk, saving up to 20% of fuel.

In addition to high dynamics and excellent handling, the Magnum features significant interior space: when the rear seats are folded, the loading compartment volume exceeds 2,025 liters.
