2005 Dodge Magnum Owner's Manual
The comfortable leather interior is done in a two-tone scheme, trimmed with silver trim, which gives the car a rather serious and representative look.
In 2005, at the Detroit Auto Show, Dodge introduced a “charged” version of the Magnum called SRT-8 (Chrysler 300C Touring in Europe) with a powerful engine. The V8 engine’s displacement has been increased at Street and Racing Technologies (SRT) from 5.7 to 6.1 liters, so that its output has increased to 425 hp. In addition, the engine has a reinforced exhaust system and a high-pressure compressor. This gave an increase of 85 hp. So up to 100 km/h Dodge Magum SRT-8 accelerates in 5 seconds.
The ESP system was reprogrammed, and the suspension was lowered by 2.5 cm to make the car comply. In addition, the car got new brakes from Brembo with 360 mm discs in the front and 350 in the rear. The Dodge Magnum SRT-8 can be purchased not only with a rear axle drive, but also in a four-wheel drive version.
