In all-wheel drive model the traction to the rear axle is transmitted with the help of HALDEX 5th generation clutch. In this version, Tiguan can tow a trailer with a weight of up to 2,500 kg under a hill with an angle of inclination of 8%. With front-wheel drive – up to 2200 kg.

In Ukraine, the Allspace went on sale at the end of 2017, at first only with a 220 hp 2.0 TSI engine. The Allspace model costs about $3,000 more than its counterpart with a standard base, but for that price difference the customer also gets a richer package. While the standard version of the model is produced in Germany, the first Allspace cars rolled off the assembly line in Mexico.
