2016 Mini Cooper Owner's Manual
As always, the Mini Cooper S is easy to personalize and individualize. For this purpose, the creators of the car have prepared a lot of body and roof coloring options, a whole collection of wheel rims, all sorts of stickers and so on. In addition, the hatchback is well equipped even in the initial version, and for an additional fee can become a model of equipment. For example, the car relies adaptive suspension, fully LED headlights and lights, the system for monitoring traffic signs, parking assistant, collision warning system, rearview camera, active cruise control and much more.
The MINI Cooper can be powered by one of several engines: A 3-cylinder 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 136 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque; the same 1.5-liter and also 3-cylinder, but diesel with 116 horsepower and 270 Nm; and again a 3-cylinder 1.5-liter gasoline engine, but deformed to 75 horsepower and 150 Nm of torque. The last listed is the “slowest”. It accelerates the car for 13 seconds from a place up to 100 km/hour. But it is economical. According to the passport data, it needs 5,2 liters of fuel per 100 km of run in the mixed cycle. The engines can be combined with both manual and automatic transmissions.
