The MINI Cooper is a B-class hatchback. The world premiere of the third generation of the model took place at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November 2013.

Preserving the legendary features that have become a symbol of an entire era in automotive engineering, the creators of this Mini Cooper tried to solve an atypical problem for the model – to make it more roomy, that is to give more space to the rear passengers. For this purpose, the length of hatchback increased by 98 mm (up to 3821), width increased to 1727 mm (+44), and the height of the car rose only by 7 mm (to 1414). The luggage compartment has also increased up to 211 liters due to this addition. Only the proportions of the hatch have changed not too harmonious. Wheels, for example, with such dimensions seem a little bit small, and the body seems too extended. On the other hand, such impression can be formed only from habit and it will pass in due course.
