More sporty character of the car is the result not only of the engine, but also the front differential with electronic locking, more advanced suspension with adaptive shock absorbers (MacPherson struts in the front, rear – four-lever suspension) and increased capacity braking system.

After the upgrade, the hatchback has received an expanded black grille bezel, the front optics with black inner body, redesigned bumpers, black-painted exhaust pipes (with a valve that changes the sound of the exhaust depending on the selected mode), as well as a different design of 18-inch wheels.

On the inside, the effect of the restyling lies in the different design of the sports steering wheel, the air vents, the automatic transmission selector and the MINI Controller on the center tunnel. In addition, the buttons under the 8.8-inch multimedia display are now touchscreen. As before, the JCW version features seats with developed side support and integrated headrests.
