2021 Ford Transit Owner's Manual

Ford Transit is an M-class van. The world premiere of the sixth generation of the model took place at the Detroit Auto Show in January 2013.
Since the Transit is primarily a commercial vehicle, we will not dwell here on the peculiarities of its design and interior design, but move straight to the important technical parameters. For example, the van is available in several versions: L2, which has a wheelbase of 3.3 meters and an overall length of 5.53 meters; L3 – 3.75 and 5.9 meters respectively; Jumbo – with the same (3.75 m) wheelbase, but a total length of 6.7 meters. The latter variant can have only the highest roof (H3, 2.78 m) and rear or all-wheel drive, while the L2 and L3 versions have two roof options (medium H2 and high H3) and three drive options (front, rear and all-wheel drive).
The Ford Transit is powered by a 2.2-liter Duratorq TDCi diesel engine. It is available with three power outputs – 100, 125 and 155 hp. And, depending on the drive, the engine can be installed both transversely and longitudinally. But the gearbox in any case is only one – 6-speed manual.
