2023 Toyota Corolla Cross is a hybrid version of the fifth-generation five-door SUV. This is the first experience with such a powertrain for the Corolla Cross.
The hybrid version is only produced together with all-wheel drive, while the other models are only available in front-wheel drive. The car combines an inline four-cylinder 1.8-liter gasoline engine and a lithium-ion battery. The battery is located under the rear seat, which has increased the volume of the luggage compartment.
The power of the car has also increased and now amounts to 194 “horses” compared to the previous version, which is 25 more units. In addition, the fuel economy has been improved. The model is able to accelerate to 100 km/h in just 8 seconds. The car has an updated transmission.
