The second-generation GMC Terrain is built on the new D2XX modular platform. Externally, the SUV looks almost nothing like its predecessor. The Terrain’s masculine silhouette is highlighted by a number of clever styling solutions, which together harmonize perfectly with each other. First of all, the “soaring roof” effect, which was achieved by the blacked-out rear pillars and the elongated window line, attracts attention.

The front corners are framed by stylish C-shaped Bi-functional HID headlights, and between them the massive octagonal grille glitters with chrome. Completing the picture, a shiny decorative belt that connects small fog lights. Stern zone is distinguished by similar to the front C-shaped lights, located on a large door of the luggage compartment, under which found a place a chrome decoration inset and a pair of rectangles of the exhaust system. Due to the reduction of cargo volume the newcomer became a little more compact, its dimensions L/H/H now is 4630/1839/1661 mm, respectively, and axle center distance is 2725 mm.
