Volkswagen Touareg is also equipped with a more powerful, 240-horsepower 3-liter diesel engine, a 4.2-liter V8 with 340 “horses,” three versions of gasoline engines rated from 249 to 360 hp, and a hybrid power plant. However, not all of them are officially available in Ukraine, and those that are are are aggregated with 8-speed automatic Tiptronic transmission.

As standard, Touareg is equipped with permanent all-wheel drive with a central differential, and as an option is available Terrain Tech Packet, including central and rear locking, a lowered gear and a five-mode electronic assistant. Depending on the type of transmission also depends on the angle of approach – the optional one has 14 degrees more (45).
