2021 Kia Rio Owner's Manual

The Kia Rio Hatchback is a front-wheel drive B-class hatchback, also known as the Pride. The European version of the fourth-generation model was presented in September 2016 at the Paris Auto Show.
The fourth generation KIA Rio has retained the best features of its predecessor – great design, practicality and modern technology, but has become more dynamic, safe and technologically advanced.
The European version of the Kia Rio features progressive exterior and interior design developed at Kia Design Centers in Germany and California.
Not superfluous in this context is also a package of “warm options”, which can include heated windshield (entire surface), rear view mirrors, washer jets, steering wheel, front and rear seats. More expensive versions are equipped with remote start the engine (works 10 minutes), and if before the engine shutdown any of the heaters were on, they will start again.
Like the pre-styled version, the KIA Rio X can be equipped with one of two atmospheric gasoline engines, each with distributed fuel injection and variable valve timing. The 1.4-liter Kappa delivers 100 hp and 132 Nm of torque. The 1.6-liter Gamma makes 123 hp and 156 Nm. Both engines can run on 92 gasoline. Despite the “off-road” styling (unpainted plastic on the perimeter of the body), the car, as before, is available only with front-wheel drive.
The list of equipment offered for the KIA Rio X, there is a diode headlight, keyless entry system, six airbags, stability systems, hill start assist and tire pressure monitoring. There is also climate and cruise control, parking sensors, a rearview camera and navigation
