As for the petrol engines, there are two of them in the lineup. The 1.6-liter GDI has 132 horsepower and comes with both a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission (mono drive). The engine of the same volume T-GDI has 177 hp and is equipped with 7-speed “robot” with two clutches and a four-wheel drive.

Basic equipment Comfort includes six airbags, uphill/downhill assist, start/stop system (for diesel versions), rain and light sensor, heated front and rear seats and steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, rearview camera and 6-speaker audio system.

The top version of Sportage – GT LINE – is equipped with 17-inch brake discs, Advanced Traction Cornering Control system for more efficient cornering, blind spot monitoring system, front and rear parking sensors, power front seats, heating and ventilation, keyless entry system, leather interior and JBL audio system.
