KIA Rio Sedan (Kia Rio Sedan) is a front-wheel drive B-class sedan produced for the Russian market at the plant in St. Petersburg (similar to the KIA K2 model for the Chinese market). The fourth generation of the model. The official dealer presentations in Russia took place from August 3 to 6, 2017 with the cars ready for sale.

This generation of the Rio model for the Russian market has little in common with the fourth generation model prepared for Europe and America. But the model is almost unified with the KIA K2 – Rio for the Chinese market, which was introduced back in November 2016. But there are a few differences: the radiator grille of the “Russian” Rio Sedan is narrower, completely redrawn areas of fog lights (and the lights themselves together with the running lights), and the front bumper itself has a different shape. As for the “rear,” the sedan for Russia has differently made black bumper strip and lights on it. It should be added that, apart from design, the cars also differ in road manners: the “Russian” Rio has been driven on the roads of the country, so it handles differently.
