2015 Mazda 3 Owner's Manual

The interior of the Mazda 3 also does not have principal innovations. The same architecture, the same quality trimming materials. But the level of equipment has improved. There is a full-color projection display, automatic side mirrors folding, heated steering wheel, front and rear parking sensors, rear view camera, Drive Selection mode switch, driver fatigue control system.
And yet the main technical innovation of the Mazda 3 is the G-Vectoring Control (GVC) system. It receives data on vehicle speed, steering angle and engine load, and then at the right moments to reduce the torque on the shaft of the engine, thereby regulating the forces in the contact patch of the driving wheels and slightly changing the vertical load on the same axle. Traction drops by a maximum of 30 Nm, but it’s enough to make the car respond more accurately to the driver. The work of the GVC system is almost unnoticeable, but noticeably increases safety, especially in emergency situations and on slippery roads.
