2023 Mazda 3 Owner's Manual

The Mazda 3 Hatchback is a C-class hatchback with either front- or all-wheel drive. The fourth generation made its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in the fall of 2018. The car will go on sale in 2019.

The exterior of the “three” is almost identical to the Kai concept. There is nothing surprising in this, because it is essentially an evolution of the Kodo’s signature direction. Nothing superfluous just a simple form with smooth lines, and the play of light and shadow should give the body more expressiveness.

Creating the interior the developers of Mazda stuck to the same corporate minimalism. Telling the truth, it has not prevented “Mazda” to make it elegant in its own way. As well as in the exterior, smooth lines prevail here, there is no superfluous piling up, everything looks harmoniously and in its places. Ergonomics, by the way, as well as noise isolation, according to the statement of the manufacturer, are much better.

The car body is constructed as a triple “H” and helps to distribute impact energy from any side. Inside the rugged interior of the Mazda 3 hatchback are front and side airbags with dual-stage deployment, as well as seat belts with pretensioners and limiters. A folding steering column, tilt brake pedal, and energy-absorbing strut make the Mazda3’s passive safety one of the best in its class.

The Mazda3 Hatchback’s chassis is carefully tuned to create the perfect balance of stability, comfort and precise, predictable handling in all situations.
