The third generation Mazda 2 is much richer than its predecessor in terms of equipment. Here you can find a multimedia system MZD Connect with 7-inch screen, and projection display, and the system tracking the situation around the car (with a video camera, two radar and laser scanner), and automatic switching from high beam to low beam, and several options for the instrument panel. Plus all the latest active and passive safety systems.

The engine range of the Mazda 2 consists of 1.5-liter units of the SkyActiv family. One of them is diesel, producing 105 hp of power and 220 Nm of torque at 1400 rpm. This engine consumes only 3.4 liters per 100 kilometers on a combined cycle. The other engines are atmospheric petrol engines with high compression ratio (14:1), direct fuel injection, multijet injectors, variable electrical and hydraulic valve timing. Output of gasoline engines is 75, 90, 108 and 115 “horses” at 135, 148, 145 and again 148 Nm of torque, respectively. The engines are paired with a 5- or 6-speed manual transmission, or a 6-band automatic.
