The most noticeable weight reduction of the Dodge Viper Convertible – 15.4 kg – is achieved due to the front panel, made in a single piece of magnesium alloy. And the support of this panel, made by the same technology, provides greater body rigidity in torsion without the use of additional steel elements – the first time in the history of automobile construction.

The gas pedal, brake and clutch pedals are electrically adjustable, and can be moved up to 10 cm. The pedals of the Dodge Viper Convertible are decorated with pads cast from aluminum. There is an adjustable footrest for the left foot, on which the driver can place his foot to rest (“dead pedal”).
