Ergonomically designed seats reduce driver and passenger fatigue by distributing pressure evenly across the cushion and backrest. The rear bench-style seats are large enough to comfortably seat three adult passengers. Mechanism of their unfolding in the ratio of 60/40 is simple and convenient, and tilting window of the trunk hatch and the presence of luggage beams on the roof (standard on all models) allows to transport also long objects.

To keep the passengers from possible trouble, the standard equipment of Mazda Tribute is double airbags, side airbags for front seats, ABS system with electronic brake force distribution (EBD), which optimally changes braking force to rear wheels depending on vehicle load. The rigid body structure utilizes the well-known Triple H design – additional reinforcements in the roof, sides and floor that gently surround passengers on all sides.
