Mazda designers left the second generation of the CX-5 with a recognizable appearance, while thoroughly working on the redesign of the front end. Slightly expanded the branded grille with lower chrome edging, narrowed the headlights headlights, now with diode stuffing and was completely rebuilt the bumper itself, which appeared flat fog lights.

By displacing the front roof pillars by 35 mm, the angle of the windshield has increased, which had a positive impact on the overall design of the car, its aerodynamics and driver’s visibility.

The boot lid with the rear bumper also changed its features, and the rear lights became more compact and got LED inserts. Overall dimensions L/H/H did not change, now they are 4550/1840/1680 mm, respectively, and the length of the wheelbase is still 2700 mm. As for the trunk space, it increased from 443 liters to 506 liters (1620 liters with folded backrests).
