The sports coupe Mazda RX-8, production of which started in 2003, has caused a furor in the world market, and won more than 50 awards worldwide: “Car of the Year 2003” in Japan (2003 RJC), “International Engine of the Year 2003” according to Australian magazine “Wheels”, “Best Car of the Year 2004” in Singapore, “Best Sports Car of the Year 2004” in the USA, and “Car of the Year 2004” in Great Britain.
