2012 Volkswagen CC Owner's Manual
Both engines can confidently accelerate the CC to the right speed, and each provides unmatched power on the highway. The four-cylinder engine seems a bit more advanced and provides better fuel economy: 22 miles per gallon in the city and 31 miles per gallon on the highway. The V6 returns 17/27 miles per gallon city/highway (17/25 with all-wheel drive). The 2012 Volkswagen CC manual transmission works clearly. Both automatics change gears quickly, but the dual clutch transmission is not as smooth.
The CC’s taut suspension and responsive steering make it light and athletic in corners. One significant problem is the ride quality. While the CC absorbs shocks well at highway speeds, its ride is less comfortable and somewhat jittery on rough city streets.
