2016 Toyota Land Cruiser Owner's Manual

Front suspension of Land Cruiser is independent, on twin parallel A-arms, and rear suspension is dependent, with 4 longitudinal and 1 crossbar. The car is equipped with KDSS system of adjusting the degree of transverse stabilization, which was previously installed on Lexus GX. Its essence is that, depending on the conditions, the system provides varying degrees of articulation of the axles with special hydraulic supports, due to which the passability of the SUV significantly improves. Crawl Control system, which controls the engine’s traction and braking force, works for the same purpose.
In USA Toyota Land Cruiser 200 is available with two types of engines. The 4.5-liter 32-valve diesel V8 series D-4D produces 235 hp at 3200 rpm. It peaks at 615 Nm of torque between 1,800 and 2,200 rpm, consuming about 10.3 liters of fuel in the combined cycle.
