Inside the Polo Sedan is dominated by inexpensive, but dense and durable plastic, and the backrest of the rear sofa, depending on the configuration, can be folded completely or in the ratio of 60:40, due to which the luggage compartment capacity of 460 liters can be significantly increased.

In base kitting Trendline, Volkswagen Polo is completed with the minimal set of equipment and 14-inch stamped wheel disks. The Comfortline version includes heated front seats and antilock brakes, and the top version Highline has air conditioner, sound system and 15-inch alloy wheels. As additional options are available side airbags, ESP, climate control and parking sensor.

Under the hood of Polo sedan there is a 1.6 liter four-cylinder gasoline engine. It develops 105 hp (77 kW) of power at 5250 rpm. Maximum torque is 153 Nm at 3,800 rpm and fuel consumption in the mixed cycle is within 6.5-7 liters. With a 5-speed manual gearbox, the Polo Sedan gets “hundred” in 10.5 seconds, and it takes 12.1 seconds for the same action when equipped with a 6-band “automatic” with the Tiptronic function.
