2020 Mini Clubman Owner's Manual

The MINI Cooper Clubman is a B-class station wagon. The second generation of the model made its debut in the summer of 2015.

It is quite difficult to work with the design of the Cooper Clubman, because it is impossible to make too serious changes in the appearance of the car. Therefore, the MINI focused on the little things, slightly tweaking the bumpers, replacing the vertical tail lights with horizontal ones and, most importantly, made sure that the rear right door opens in the traditional way, not against the wind, as before.

The interior of the Cooper Clubman is traditional for MINI cars. There are no innovations that deserve special attention. But the technical modernization, carried out by engineers, is serious enough. We shall concentrate the basic attention on it, having started with the fact that the automobile is built on UKL platform with McPherson struts in front and multilever suspension in back. The Clubman is 248 mm longer and 73 mm wider than related five-door hatchbacks, and its wheelbase is 103 mm longer. In comparison with the previous Clubman’s generation the geometry of suspension has been changed, new subframes and hydraulic engine mounts have appeared.
