Savana Passenger has an extensive engine range. Depending on the version and the type of drive it can be equipped with 4.3-liter V6 engine with an output of 195 hp at 4600 rpm, 4.8-liter V8 with 280 “ponies” at 5200 rpm, 5.3-liter V8 with 310 hp at 5200 rpm, and 6.0 and 6.6-liter units with output of 324 and 260 hp, respectively. The last engine is turbodiesel. Aggregate the motors, depending on a version, with 4-speed or 6-speed automatic transmission.

Production of the GMC Savana Cargo is set up at the General Motors plant in the U.S. state of Missouri. Together, the Savana and Chevrolet Express account for nearly 45% of sales in its segment. In some countries, the vehicle is used for the needs of medics and police officers, and as a school bus.
