The MINI Cooper Convertible is an H1-class convertible. The world premiere of the third generation of the model took place at the Tokyo Motor Show in November 2015.

Even minimal changes in the exterior of the Mini Cooper Convertible were enough to call it a new generation. Although, we must admit, this is not the only thing that makes the car noteworthy. It became a little bit bigger, having remained thus rather compact, has received new options, new colors of body painting, new engines, reconfigured running gear and many other things. In a word, there is really a significant difference between generations, even if it is not visible at first sight.

The key feature of the Mini Cooper Convertible is, of course, the soft top. It is electrically operated and can be activated at speeds of up to 30 km/h. The entire procedure takes 18 seconds. However, the roof can also be partially folded. The volume of the trunk with a raised top is 215 liters, with a retracted one – 160 liters. It is 45 and 35 liters more than the previous generation convertible respectively.
