The VW Beetle of the third generation also received many changes. The car has an updated steering wheel, additional glove box, integrated into the dashboard, auxiliary indicators over the center console and audio and navigation system with 5- or 6.5-inch display. In addition, a large panoramic roof is available as an option.

When creating the Beetle, Volkswagen focused not on saving style, but on improving the technical part, so McPherson struts are used as the front suspension of the car, and multilever at the rear. Many details of the suspension are borrowed from VW Jetta model.

Under the hood of the third generation of Volkswagen Little is a 2-liter diesel unit rated at 140 hp or turbocharged gasoline engine with the same two-liter capacity, but developing 200 hp.
