The list of equipment is still quite good: ventilation seats, heated steering wheel, keyless access with start button, wireless charging, rearview camera, automatic valet, dual-zone climate and an audio system JBL with eight speakers.

Niro takes care of safety, as evidenced by: eight airbags, adaptive cruise, collision avoidance system (recognizes not only vehicles but also pedestrians), lane keeping, blind spot monitoring and driver fatigue sensor.

The Kia Niro Hybrid features a 1.6-liter (105 hp, 147 Nm) Kappa-family engine and an electric motor. The combined output is 141 hp and 260 Nm. Transmission – 6-speed “robot” DCT of its own design. The crossover has two variants of execution – Hybrid (capacity of the electric motor – 43 hp, capacity of the lithium polymer battery – 1.56 kWh) and Plug-in Hybrid (efficiency of the electric motor – 61 hp, traction battery capacity – 8.9 kWh). The first one is in fact the usual hybrid created as alternative to economical diesel engine. But the second one can be recharged from the outlet and drive up to 49 km (WLTP) using only electric power.
